Steven began his career in construction as a teenager within the family business, working across multiple trades before progressing to site manager. His background spans brickwork and joinery for national house builders, alongside commercial projects including the Agricultural Museum in Glasgow and Edinburgh Council Offices.

After working as a contracts manager for a national builder, Steven established Oakover Developments to offer private clients a genuine turnkey service - one built on the same discipline around programme, budget and quality that underpins national-scale construction, applied to individual, high-value homes.

Mary manages the day-to-day running of Oakover Developments, coordinating with clients, suppliers and the wider project team to keep every build moving smoothly from enquiry through to handover.
